We offer gift cards from many local vendors, but to really make a dent in your fees, you need to think of this as everyday spending not just for special occasions and gift giving. With a little thought and planning you can more than pay your fees and even cover the costs extras including band trips.
Everyone can use scrip gift cards to pay for basic family needs. Please check out the order from for a complete listing of vendors and the current discounts that they are offering. If you get in the habit of regularly purchasing and shopping with scrip gift cards, you can pay your student’s band fees without ever spending an extra dime. In addition to regular household shopping, add in major home repairs and improvements, big purchases like televisions, stereos, lawn mowers, holiday purchases, gifts and travel and the discounts really add up.
We have several families who have accounts that are hundreds of dollars ahead because they make scrip ordering a regular part of their spending habit. For really big credits, get your extended family and friends involved, too.
For anyone who has not tried this program, there is no catch, you pay the face value of the card and spend that amount at the vendor you chose. For example, you order a $100.00 Kroger card, you pay the band $100.00 and get the gift card worth $100.00 to spend as you wish with the only stipulation being that that is imposed by the vendor for their regular gift cards. (Most companies charge a maintenance fee or some type of penalty after an extended time which is normally 2 years.) The cards are ordered and delivered in a few days. In the case of Kroger on a $100.00 card, the discount of $5.00 is applied directly to your student’s account.
We ask that every family at least try this program a couple of times. For just a little effort you can easily get your fees paid without spending any extra money.

Orders will be taken the first and third Thursday of each month. Bring your orders to the band booster meetings or send them with your student to hand into a Band Booster representative. Order forms are available on the band website, www.pchsband.com, and in the band room.
