Hi everyone! A couple of things to put on the calendar: We have a booster meeting on Tuesday, August 4th at 7 pm (practice is from 5-8). PLEASE make plans to attend and support your children. Also don't forget that attending booster meetings and working the concession stand will get you a credit at the end of the year! The booster meetings are always on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm. This one will be in the band room. We will have our preview and cookout Friday, August 7th at 6pm. Everyone come on out to the school and see what we have been working on! Bring a lawn chair! We will be taking our band picture with all the other fall groups next Monday, August 10th. Practice begins at 5 that day, but please make plans to get your child there as close to 4pm as possible so that they can get ready in their uniform for pictures. ~Ms. Young Concession Stand Clean-Up 07/23/2009
We are scheduling a clean-up of the concession stand on the nights of Monday, 8/10 and Tuesday, 8/11...from 5:30-8:00pm. These dates/times mirror the band practice, so we will have access to the concession stduring these times. If you are interested in helping with this clean up, please let me know within the next few days. The more people, the better---clean up will go faster and may not take as long. We have some cleaning supplies, but what ever you can bring would be appreciated. We'll be wiping down all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting all equipment. Don't wear good clothes and wear tennis shoes. We do have enough rubber gloves on hand for the crew to use. Once we have a volunteer list assembled, I'll publish a list of names for the director and give specifics about parking as well for these two nights. Thank you for your continued help in getting us ready for the upcoming season! Connie Hayes Parking at Band Camp 07/23/2009
